Colored Emotions

Random thoughts of nothingness,
Drift idly over a cotton candy blue sea.

Idle dreams of laziness,
Slip slowly through the pea green mist of forgetfulness.

Somber cries of loneliness,
Fall softly down the smoke grey tunnel of unhappiness.

Angry wails of outrage,
Stomp heavily upon the midnight black stones of injustice.

Peaceful sighs of contentedness,
Float quietly on snow white clouds of solitude.

Cheerful cries of laughter,
Fly wistfully across a lemon yellow sun.

I wrote this back in 2002 and recently stumbled upon it whilst cleaning. Not too shabby so I thought I'd share.
